Now if I can only do it when still

"Motion becomes my mantra. Through it, I gradually divest myself of worry and anger, of fear and depression - and the reasons for them. "

The Area you got lost in were some of the same roads as the Riverwalk 5m race I ran in on Sat. the 22!
I've been trapped by the Canals before. Going east from 441 on Davie trying to get to Rt. 84, I turned south and
I couldn't find a place to get across the water way. I finally had to ask a resident working in his yard,
and he advised me I had to go back to Davie Blvd. and cross the bridge over middle river before I could turn south!
I made the same mistake you made going to the Las Olas Art Show in my car. I had to get back on federal Highway
and go through the tunnel to get to Las Olas.
Recently I've been using Google Earth to come up with some cool routes without getting lost! It gives you satellite and/or
road views of the terrain. Try downloading it, it's free! You can actually see trails, dirt roads, levees, etc!
EX: Everglades Holiday Park on the levee, theres a loop route you
can take. I saw some Hawks carring fish in there claws, Alligators, etc. About 10 Miles! Great run.
Using Google Earth I've found some interesting runs from my place in Plantation. A 10 Mile run through 5 Parks (Lots of Water Fountains!) is one of my favorites. A couple of other google earth finds, are good 15 Milers - Shark Valley going south of the
Tamiami trail, and Dupuis preserve east of Lake Okeechobee from Gate 2 to the fishing Pier.

Run On!
Make Sure you get enough easy days and off Days!
